The Tour Pass is a progression system implemented in the December 2021 update that allows players to earn rewards and progress throughout the Tour Pass season. The Tour Pass replaced the Journey as the main progression system, as the rewards moved from the Journey to the Tour Pass. The Tour Pass unlocks at Journey Rank 3 requiring 15 Stars. A Tour Pass tends to last about a month long before a new one begins. While not an unlockable, Loading Screens for each Tour Pass appear in game during the current active Tour Pass.
Tour Points are used to unlock tiers that reward you with Song Cases, Wishlist Cards, and a Season Box. Tour Points can be earned by playing songs in your collection or through Events, upon a songs completion you will receive Tour Points based on your high score.
Players start the season on Tier 1 of the Tour Pass with access to free Wishlist Cards (as of Tour Pass 23 and onwards) in the Free Pass.
Players who purchase the Premium Pass will also have access to a Season Box.
If you want to advance to the next tier and unlock it's rewards immediately, you can pay 50 Gems to unlock it.
Premium Pass/Perks[]
Premium Pass is the purchasable version of the Tour Pass and unlocks exclusive rewards including more Season Boxes, Emotes, and Banners, as well as additional standard rewards such as Song Cases, Wishlist Cards. Season Boxes are special Song Boxes that unlock exclusively Tour Pass Season songs.
Premium Perks
Exclusive Rewards: Emote(s) and Banners.
Elite Banner: After reaching the final tier (Tier 30), you will receive an Elite Banner, which allows you to show off the max tier you reached for said Season.
Bonus Cards: After reaching the final tier (Tier 30), you will receive bonus Song Cards for each bonus tier.
Name Profile Pin: You will get a profile pin beside your name during the current Season.
Initially it seemed like Tour Passes were not going to re-use past Tour Pass names. Tour Pass 30 would break this by using the same name as Tour Pass 1 with the only difference being capitalization.

2021 Update - 09/12/2021 - Tour Pass 1 was introduced, as well as Banners and Emotes letting players use banners/emotes that aren't the default ones.
Tour Pass Improvements - 01/03/2022 - With the release of Tour Pass 3, a rebalance was made to make level progression more challenging making it harder to get to the max level of a Tour Pass (Level 99). More reward levels and another season song box were also added to the free pass.
October Update Release Notes - 10/26/2022 to Present - (commonly referred to as the Country update) During this update, Loading Screens based around Tour Passes were added. Further making each Tour Pass feel like it's own thing.
July Update Release Notes - 07/07/2023 - With the introduction of Beat Chaser Events, Tour Pass 23 would be the last Tour Pass to feature Rainbow Cards as a Tour Pass Level reward. They can now be found in Beat Chaser events instead.
Jan 24, 2025 - Present - Tour Pass 49 would reintroduce Tour Passes in a new way. Tour Passes no longer have to be exclusively new songs. Songs (already in the game from past seasons or in general) now make appearances in the Tour Pass with new charts and difficulties.
